The frothy plot of High Society deals with the complications that arise when Tracy Lord, about to wed self-made businessman George Kitteredge, finds herself falling in love with two other men - ex-husband C.K. Dexter Haven, to whom she eventually returns, and magazine writer Mike Connor, who, with photographer Liz Imbrie, has come to Newport to cover the event for Spy, a Life-type magazine. |
