- Babes In Arms tells the story of several young theatre apprentices who are attempting to put on their own revue to help the theatre stay open.
The film version, starring Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney, used only a few of the original songs, but was the landmark feature that began a long run of Judy & Mickey "let's put on a show" films.
