Anne & Gilbert is a sequel to the first Anne of Green Gables musical.
This show is much more sophisticated and true to the novels than the first Anne musical. It is witty and fast-paced.
The music requires legit singers who can communicate lyrics well, as most of the songs in this show are providing important plot development. If auditioning with a monologue, choose something that shows a little humour. |

- A young woman full of dreams.
- Gilbert Blythe (Tenor, mid-late 20s)
- A handsome, earnest, smart young man who is hardworking almost to a fault. Dreams of becoming a doctor.
- Diana Barry (Mezzo/Soprano, early 20s)
- Anne's loveable and loyal best friend. Bubbly, but also bright, she sees through Anne's stubborness.
