Tips for Musical Theatre Choreography

When choreography is left out of a musical production, we miss out on a valuable opportunity to add visual interest and movement. But choreography does much more than give the audience something to look at while performers are singing. It can also further the plot, establish relationships between characters, and enhance moods presented in the music.

Luckily, however, choreography does not have to be difficult or complicated in order to accomplish these goals. What it does require is a thorough understanding of the music, a little time and effort, and some good ideas.
