I would like to write an article for the site. How do I go about doing this?
Anything you write should be submitted as a blog entry first. If you would like us to consider it for the front page or for a tips section, send me a private message and let me know and we will evaluate it ASAP.
What if I am answering a submission call?
If the submission call is asking for an article, you may submit it as stated above. All other types of submissions should be sent to triplethreat via e-mail or PM.
What types of articles are you looking for?
Any performing related advice is always welcome, as are interesting stories about your experiences. If we are looking for anything in particular, it will be posted in the submission call forum. Reading some articles by other site members may give you some ideas.
What is "Author Status"?
Once a member has submitted a complete article that is approved by MTA staff, that member now has author status on the site. Authors will see a new link under the User Menu called "My Content". Clicking on this link will show a list of articles that the member has written, with the opportunity to edit or update them.
Once I have Author Status, how should I submit new articles?
Use the dropdown menu on the My Content page to select the most appropriate category for your article. Then you will be automatically taken to the page where you can type in your article. Once your article has been submitted, it will be approved by MTA staff before appearing on the site.
