I can feel Post-Show Depression creeping up on me already... and there are still four more performances!

That's right, Over the Tavern is almost over for me, and it it devastating to me. I have been extremely fortunate that I had such a wonderful first Equity experience. No divas, no huge problems, and I like the show itself. I am going to miss everyone in the show sooo much... I've known them for less than two month (augh, we won't even have spent two months together when we're through!) and I feel like if I could stick with this cast forever, I would be happy.

I know one has to move on and everything, but still, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Here are some of the highlights since I last updated:

-Every "weekend" (we begin on Thursday and run until Sunday each week, but I call these "weekends"), except for the first, we have been sold out. And the first weekend was almost sold out.

-We had to add a show this weekend, which is Wednesday to Saturday instead. We now have two shows on Saturday.

-My mom had Over the Tavern keychains made with our show poster and cast picture on it. I am in love.

-Last Saturday, I got a nosebleed before the last (very long) scene. This is the beginning on allergy season for me, and sometimes I rub or scratch my nose once too many times. I get pretty heavy nosebleeds, and I went through three paper towels (which was what my "brother" shoved into my hand right before I entered) during that last scene and only managed to stop it for curtain call. Thankfully, what I thought was an obvious flow of blood went unnoticed by everyone- including my fellow cast members. They just thought I had the sniffles... I had been worried about grossing someone out with the paper towel, since the flow was heavy enough that I had to have it out almost the whole time. I don't touch my nose during the show anymore.

-A lot of my family and a few of my friends have come to see the show and I just love that. I don't think non-theatre people realise how wonderful it is when someone comes to see your show. It was also just nice to see everyone, especially since I don't see these friends nearly as much as I used to.

-The dye I used on my hair is starting to come out... isn't it supposed to be permament? I'm dying it back in a few weeks, anyway, though I do like the color.

-All three of the show reviews have been good, which is wonderful.

-Our director invited a guy who sort of adopts popular shows and brings them to bigger venues. It's a long shot because there aren't really any "names" in our show, and it's not a well-known show, but it has been very successful and popular. I would love to do this show longer... what a dream that would be.

-Apparently, some Barrymore Awards nominators have come. How wonderful would that be if someone from the cast was nominated?

That's about all... this show has been fantastic and I don't want it to end.
