Okay so heres how it goes, last week i tried out for the Musical at my High School, we are doing Beauty and the Beast. I tried out for the part of Chip, being the shortest Thespian (at 5'0" and petite), there were a few other people that could have gotten it because they were 5'3" and upperclassmen.

Alright, so last night the cast list went up and being a freshmen i didn't expect to get in, and the romours were that our director didnt want to use any freshmen girls. i wasscrolling down the list just to see who got Chip because i was curious (and i will admit, a TINY bit hopeful) but when i got tdown there my heart skipped a beat....TBA...that as all that was written next to Chip. EVERY ROLE had been cast EVEN chorus, EXCEPT Chip. and here, the other 3 girls i was up against who were older, got cast.

My stomach turns a little everytime i think about it because here are the variables, There is one other freshmen girl who could get it so it would be down to me and her (maybe they wanted to stand us next to Mrs.Potts?), or they are going to get a little boy from the Elem. Shool? It seems like they will get someone younger because why else wouldnt they post it besides having me and the other girl stand for comparison? The only thing that is making us think they won't is because my high school NEVER does that, never have and they had planned never to do that.

I don't hold out much hope but the chance is still up in the air.....any thoughts?
