This is a general tutorial of the basic Cockney accent.
VOWELS
Cockney vowels are quite different than American vowels. Most vowels in Cockney speech are diphthongs (2 vowel sounds in one).

CONSONANTS
The most significant difference in Cockney consonants is the lack of consonants. Cockney speech drops “h” and ending “r,” lots of “t”s.

As I said, this is just a jumping off point. The only way to learn an accent is by doing. Imitation is the easiest way for me to learn, so here are some links of excellent examples of Cockney Accents:
