Pajama Game Casting

Our school is doing Pajama Game this year for the spring musical. The cast list went up Thursday and I was cast as a soloist in "Hernando's Hideaway" and also as a member of the Secretarial Pool, a group our director made up for underclassmen who read, sang and auditioned well, but he didn't have enough principal and secondary parts to give everyone. I was so excited because one of my best friends got Prez ( like I knew he would, he's really talented  ). I'm one of four sophomores in the secretarial pool along with many other upperclassmen and one of the six female soloists, which I don't think is too shabby for a sophomore. Our director also said anytime an unassigned solo/trio/dancing group pops up during rehearsal, he'll use only girls from the secretarial pool in those spots! So, I'm very excited. Rehearsals start the 12th and I can't wait! |
