Tenor/Footloose updates

Our director called back with parts for the Footloose auditions ( Actually, he called back about two weeks ago, but I've been really busy lately, so couldn't update ) I was cast as Ethel MacCormick, Ren's mom. I was really surprised. Wasn't expecting it, because the range is really lower than I normally sing, almost an alto. And, the best part, I don't have to dance at all except in the Finale! (I'm horrible at dancing) Thank goodness. Now, I just have to make it to all the Tenor rehearsals and Footloose rehearsals and hope they don't conflict with each other!!! (Tenor starts the last two weeks of June and Footloose starts right before the 4th of July, so the shows are nearly back to back!) Rehearsals are going great so far for both shows! And, more good news, I made it into my school's select Madrigal Choir and Renaissance Choir. I'm singing Soprano II for Madrigal and Soprano I for Renaissance. Can't wait to start those next year!!!! |
