Super good news! My fear that I would never have any musical talent was contradicted yesterday when a proffesional voice teaher told me I had what it takes to make it big. According to her I "have great potential, amazing drive, and unbelievable perserverance". I'm also "very dramatic, which helps loads". So i'm happy. Also, she invited me two be one of only one or two of her new summer voice students. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic. I think we'll be a great match, and in the little sample lesson bit of it all, she showed me a compressed typicalm lesson. Her techniques and goals for me are exactly what I had in mind. I will continue with the teacher at the school until June (I've discussed this with her and its ohkay with her), then pick up with Ms. Trent. All I can say is: YAY!
