Should I back out?
Written by Jessica x0

There's a pep rally at my school next Thursday. So today, this kid Matt (doesn't have many friends) was tlaking to my best friend, Kayla about how this one girl who hated me from drama because she thinks I started a rumor (I didnt.), is going to boo me and get her friends to at the talent show. Given, a lot of people form drama don't like me, the director made me the understudy for everyone; so people got pissed when I got to understudy their part. Also, this girl is telling her sister to tell people at the elemntary school about me so they'll hate me (doubt a 3rd grader will care/remember to do that, but whatever.).

Anyway, and also I told Matt that I may be attending a performing arts high school, and he got REALLY pissed, and he is honestly so selfish. And then he started saying how "he and Kayla are my only true friends" WTF? Maybe in the drama club, theyre some of my good friends; but I have other friends outside of that. Apparantly he doesn't realize it.

So, should I back out of the pep rally? I'm singing a minutes worth of Good Morning Baltimore (first verse and chorus).

No, if they are as childish and immature as they sound, they'll probalbly be too chickenshit to actually do it! Go out there and rock it!

Don't back out, it sounds like to me they are just jealous, and they will look like idiots when they are boo-ing a great performance, also your friends don't sound like real friends if they don't support you for wanting to go to a performing arts school. Don't ever give up or care what about what other jealous people say about you! Break a leg at the pep rally!!! smilies/smiley.gif

Don't back out! Not if its something you want to do (apparently it is). Chances are, so many people will be clapping you won't even be able hear the few immature people booing. And elementary school kids "hating" you? They don't even really know what hate is, and I also doubt they'll remember you when it matters. I have one for a little sister, and I know from experience that they have the attention span of a goldfish...

Def don't back out! They're just being immature- why are they putting so much effort into making people hate you? And, as Lani said, the little kids don't really know what it is. LOL, i can see one of the little third graders being like, "Boo- wait... she sounds really good... why are we hating her again?"
