Oh no I didn't
Written by IOwnTheEnjyVest

Oh yes I did.

Ok I am going to be extremely mean to my school but I need to say it badly:

ANYTHING GOES SUCKS MAJOR BOOTY

It's about a week before the show and people are still on book! The only people who seem to be working towards the roles are Lindsay (lovely Maria from Sound of Music), Johnny Shea (Billy Crocker) and Connor Frawley (the tap dancing rocks) Reno has a good voice but it's not that strong. Evelyn NEEDS TO SPEAK UP!!! NOW!!!

PEOPLE REMEMBER THOSE GOD DAMN CUES! WRITE THEM DOWN! THAT'S WHAT YOUR BOOKS ARE FOR!

ENSEMBLE: Learn those dance moves I beg you. And stop Cotton-Eye-Joeing backstage. We can see from the audience. And please get out of the way when Stage Crew has to move stuff. Stop mumbling as well. I'm 2 feet away from the stage and I can't hear you.

BONNIE: Nelly I love you and all but please PLEASE PLEASE stop standing there like a lump during Heaven Hop and Let's Step Out. You look stupid.

EVERYONE listen to Mr. McHugh and take some direction.

I'm sorry Anything Goes but you all need to get it together. People are spending money on their tickets and if you don't pull it off, I'm going all Enjolras on your butts.

Mrs. Frawley, Mr. McHugh, I wish you great luck and my sympathies are with you.

Why does this keep getting unpublished?

Ah... there's simply nothing like a good rant to get it out of your system, is there? That and going "all Enjolras on someone's butt", I guess. smilies/grin.gif

Lets hope no one you mentioned ever goes on this website! Anyways, that is too bad that it is a week till the show and people are still on book and don't know their cues! Hopefully the show will come together in the end!

I know how you feel. I recently did a school show and it seemed like no one but me cared if the show sucked or not and they still didnt know their lines even during the show. People were forgetting lines all over the place. One of the guys was even eating a pop tart on stage! it was a disaster! but youll get through it i promise.
