So tomorrow...

Tomorrow I have my very first college audition for University of the Arts in Philadelphia. This is my number one college. Actually, this is the only college I want to go to at all (but I am applying elsewhere.)

I am soooo nervous. I know I'm prepared- yesterday, I stayed after school to work on my monologues, then I went to voice and worked on my songs over and over and over again. I'm doing two monologues and two songs. My monologues are one of Ophelia's from Hamlet and my usual comedic one from Catholic Schoolgirls. My songs are Someone Else's Story from Chess and Anything Goes from Anything Goes. Until yesterday, my up-tempo was Jellicle Cats, but I didn't feel comfortable hitting the high notes right off the bat (even though my teacher said they sounded fine). I am very happy I decided to change- I'm just so much more comfortable with AG.

I hope it goes well- I'm auditioning for musical theatre as opposed to straight theatre. I'm really nervous that I won't get in...
