for my vocal class, we've been working on our first projects of the year for bout a month now, cuz my teacher loves to make sure we're 150% ready. We had to partner up with someone, pick a song, write our own harmonies for it, and find someone to accompany us. So this girl and i were like the last 2 left cuz ive never met anyone in this class before, and this extra chick (we'll call her Lucy) and i had one class together last year. we partnered up .. better her than some other chick who i didnt knoe. So we picked the song "Leave The Pieces" by The Wreckers. Simple song, we figured out some harmonies, even tho the song already has them for us, and we've decided to have my younger sister accompany us on her guitar. so last week we all got together after school and rehearsed for the first time with the guitar. WE SOUND TERRIBLE !! another girl was there with us and she recorded us, and i knoe u sound different on tape than u do live, but either way, we still suck ! we sound good by ourselves, but have u ever just found 2 good sounds and no matter wha way u mash them together, they just dont fit ? but were practicing again tomorroe with the guitar, and them being marked next week . Really nervous !! I hope this goes well
