So I am a recent college graduate looking to burst into Musical Theatre (as SO many other people in the world are...but hey...) and I live in the Phoenix Metro area of Arizona.
I have been having a severe problem lately: we only have one community theatre in the area (that I can get to without having to drive two hours) and they have this heinous practice of not even auditioning shows and just casting them with all the little Mormons in the area who have done their shows previously...
Would anyone have any suggestions of what else I could do to try to gain experience (which I know I desperately need) besides community theatre?
