My audition !!

So todaay (being thursday) was my audition for my school's musical. This year we are doing Leader Of The Pack, also known as the Ellie Greenwich Musical. I was excited for my audition before the day, but then today came and i realized i had concentrated on the acting part so much that i COMPLETELY forgot to pick a song!! UGH ! so bout an hour before my audition, i decide i was going to sing Let It Be, the classic Beatles hit, also a song i love to sing occassionally because the Beatles mean everything to me. So im shaking like mad before the audition, i couldnt even open my locker, but i shouldnt be cuz i NEVER get stage fright cuz i also do competitive dance and im performing all the time. why the hell was i nervous !? so i go into the room and my drama teacher from last year, my vocal teacher from this semester, and the stage manager (who ive never really liked) are all sitting there just staring at me. Blah blah blah, i start to sing and im so nervous i sing a key higher than i wanted to ! it was all good tho cuz i hit the notes still, the upside to being a high soprano, not a lot of notes are impossible. so then i finish the song and they seem happy with it. So we move onto the acting part and the stage manager reads the part of Jeff, and im reading Ellie. KILLED THAT PART ! i didnt need my script at all cuz i memorized it the night before and i even made myself cry when i needed to ! i felt so happy with it. So overall, i hope it was a good audition, and i hope i get a good part, cuz last year i was a chorus member in our production of You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. This year im kinda hoping for something a little bit better. I dont know till the end of next week tho !
Lets see how many hours of sleep i get in between now and then ;) and i'll be sure to keep you posted on what part i get , if i even get a part, sometime soon
