Once Upon a Mattress- blog #2
Written by broadwaybaby13

we are currently 1/4 of the way through the rehearsal proccess for Once Upon a Mattress. Even though i have a small part it is really fun! I play a lady in waiting and I have a semi-featured part at the end. It has been really fun so far and the whole cast is super nice and fun to work with. The music is a little hard to learn because there are so many different harmonies and we don't really rehearse the music very often. I'll have to buy the songs i'm in off of Itunes in the next couple of days. But it's coming along nicely, we are already blocking the second act! I can't wait to see how it turns out!

in other news, i recorded my audition tape for the state choir today and i feel pretty good about it. I was a little worried about the high parts but they were surprisingly easy. I'm so excited to find out if i made it or not!

I hope you get in! I love Once Upon a Matress, and a lady in waiting looks like such a fun role. Break a leg!
