If I were you, First I'd look at yourself and see where you went wrong and vow to change whatever it was about yourself that got you to this point in the 1st place. There has to be something, as people don't usually say things like that to your face unless you are partly to blame. I'm not saying the teacher is innocent, but they always say "it takes two to tango."

Then, I would just move on with my life. Find a different place, other than your school, to feed your theatre habit. Chances are probably not good for changing your situation at school, unless you and everyone involved can sincerely apologize for whatever happened. In other words, even if you are in the "right" - swollow it !!!

After you move on and start doing theatre again in some other place, remember your past and fix it. Try to be helpful, no gossip, no talking poorly about fellow actors, no putting down the directors (no matter how bad they might be) as they will ALWAYS find out things you might say negative against them. Never be negative, always be helpful - even to people who beat you out and got the part you wanted. Throw all jealously out the window and always try to say positive things about everybody - even if they cut you down and say negative things against you. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Work hard and stay out of trouble. Don't waste time listening to others talk negative about others. Try always to be a positive person. If you end up in a bad production, KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT, as you never know who will be listening and you don't want to be looked on as a gossip, a negative person and part of the problem. Make your reputation as a good person just as important as your reputation as a good performer. Director's do not want to work with diva's if they can cast someone else who is just as good as you. Director's don't want to work with people who are negative when they can find someone else to cast who will be easy to work with, positive, and a nice person. I've known director's who passed on the best performer and cast someone they liked as a person. Remember, no matter how big a star you may become, you can always be replaced. There is always an understudy or someone waiting in the wings for their big chance.

To answer your questions I would say there is no way you can be a part of the show at school without being in contact with that drama teacher. Unless your parents do not pay attention to you or care anything about where you go, I would say there is no way you could be involved in the show without them finding out you are involved.

I was in the same situation in high school (I just graduated). Our school director did not like me, it was quite apparent. You should find another place to go, especially if you're not being cast at school. I went elsewhere and was in four or five times as many productions, and in good roles, not just the literal walk-ons (no lines) that I'd get at school.
I agree with Jbug in that, even if things are really awful, don't make them worse by feeding the fire. People realise who should and shouldn't be in the cast after awhile- our director always cast the same. exact. people. in every play, even if they weren't right for the part, and people started to get pretty tired of it. But don't badmouth the other actors!
