Spelling Bee/Priscilla the musical - 2007/08/10 22:55
I didn't really think either warrants their own post, as I think there's a distinct lack of Australians here. Nonetheless -
I went to NIDA for a holiday course with my school (National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney) and we got to see Spelling Bee and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (amongst other shows) while we were there.
For others who have seen Spelling Bee (not neccessarily the STC one) - has audience participation gone wrong when you saw it? The last audience member spelt his word right, and the cast just dissolved into laughter for about three minutes before they had to call him back up for a second word. Hilarious.
Priscilla was absolutely amazing as well, has anyone here seen it? The costumes were amazing, they must have had a massive budget for it. It's been two weeks and I'm still like *woah*.
