spring awakening - 2006/12/14 04:20anyone hear anything about this? i've been hearing many commercials on the radio. duncan sheik (barely breathing) wrote it. i've read and heard some interviews w/ him. this has been one of those "labors of love" and has been around for many years and is finally together enough to debut on broadway. but i wonder if it has any staying power. it seems rent-ish in a way, but i think it takes place in 1861? i forget. do you think it will have the same fate as high fidelity or might it make it as far as the wedding singer? lol....They call me Jessica (like: They call me lady luck... lol)

there's a clip of the rehearsal and some commentary from duncan sheik. my bad... the original play is from 1891 not 1861.
