Broadway Fights HIV/AIDS - 2006/12/09 19:57
my friend made it into this program in my area called Teen2Teen. and they get to go to nyc once in a while and get together with kids in the inner city and do workshops with broadway stars (!!) like Anthony Rapp!! ooooh yess!! and this weekend they went to nyc and they got to perform in this variety show ON BROADWAY with the cast of RENT!! amazing, right? it was a show called Broadway Fights Against HIV/AIDS, and i think around 50 different musical casts sang a number in the show. Teen2Teen was the only nonprofessional group and they sang Seasons of Love with RENT.
can you believe that high school kids had that kind of experience?! they were on broadway, and with RENT! i mean thats like, my DREAM!!
