I wonder what ages they plan to go with for the leads.

Re:Harry Potter the Musical? - 2007/08/27 20:45I am absolutely in love with the Harry Potter series - it's my favorite. However, I'm not too keen on the idea of it becoming a musical... Especially since they're considering combining all 7 books (which, by the time they're done with all the movies, is approximately 19 hours of movie footage) into one show. Absurd.
On the other hand, just one of the plots would be really odd...

But I would love to play Hermione (probably would have some pretty good songs), especially since I've kinda got the big, curly-ish, frizzy, brown hair. Though anything would be nice!

Amen to that!!!!!! All Harry Potter has turned into is commercialism and obvi ously the films are going to end so the money makers thought 'AH HA...' lets make a musical in the hope of making more dosh....I think that they think it'll be a High School Musical hit.........
