If you can play a role like the Sour Kangaroo I would seriously look into the role of Emily Arden. She's the musical entertainer of the show. Some directors make the character a dancer, some don't. I would say she's a mezzo belt. Unfortunately the movie versions aren't very much like the stage version and some of the songs are different as well. I recommend getting the 1996 OBC recording to see what you think of the various roles. The booklet that comes with it has a lot of info regarding the characters and the show itself.
