I've been searching everywhere for a monologue to do for Peter Pan tryouts. It's supposed to be around a minute. I'm trying out for Peter. Anyone have any ideas? Current Show: Spitfire Grill

You need to find a "tom-boy" type of monologue. The thought comes to mind that you might try to find a monologue that a little boy would do. Or a boy who is just about a teenager - but not yet! There are books out there with children's monologues in them. See if you can find one of those. Or maybe you can recall some monologues you've seen other 11 year old (or so) boys do in the past. Try to avoid monologues about having a crush on a girl. That subject just wouldn't work well for the role of Peter.

Sorry I can't think of anything specific. This is one of my favorite shows. It's really fun.
