If they do it after, this is a good way to make sure you come in on time. ~*~ Kris ~*~

I had this problem at an audition once and it messed things up for me. Now, I just practice with my vocal instructor and she says "1 and 2 and 3" and then I start or she makes a nodding notion with her head. Upcoming: US Performing Arts Camps

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:Song Intro? - 2008/04/14 19:10 I usually have them play a few "intro" measures to get me ready or have them count to the pick up note of the measure I start singing if it's a shorter audition.

Like in "Day by Day" or "Light of the World" from Godspell. I just know this because we are singing some Godspell songs in a revue-like thing we are doing. Upcoming: US Performing Arts Camps
