Sweeney Todd audition song - 2008/04/07 00:11
So my fav. local theatre is doing Sweeney Todd this season. But this year they're doing something weird with auditions. They're having a general vocal audition this month for people interested in doing any of the musicals next season. They want 16 bars of ballad and 16 upbeat. "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" has been my old reliable lately and I want the part of Johanna BAD but the rule is usually not to sing a song from the show...but this isn't really an audition specifically for the show...should I do it or is it a bad idea??? I sing the song very well (not to sound braggy, just for general info).....
