Re:DQ - 2/3/07: Best Chorus Numbers - 2007/04/30 17:56 I have to go with 42nd...that's like, the most memorable chorus number of all time, for me anyway. When I think "showy chorus number" that's what comes to mind. •••♥♫♥•••

Weeeeeeeeellllllllllllll,
technichly I guess both Notes song arn't chorus but it is several people on the stage and not just a duet like most to the songs in phantom are.
But for more chorus numbers from phantom, Hannibal andDon Juan are cool

BE OUR GUEST AND THE FINALE FROM BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
I know its a bit biased because I'm performing my dream role and it's my dream show to do, but those chorus numbers always stuck out to me even as kid, and their just so incredible to sing. Being on stage for that is going to be incredible.

Re:DQ - 2/3/07: Best Chorus Numbers - 2008/01/01 02:09 Christine_wannabe, I have to totally agree with you, OKLAHOMA is such a killer wonderful song once you get all of those harmonies down. I loved the fact that we got to sing the end of that song twice. it made me happy

and i'll have to add the Joseph megamix to the list. high energy at its best.

Re:DQ - 2/3/07: Best Chorus Numbers - 2008/02/08 15:35 i am currently in Little Shop, so this is natural to say, but Skid Row (Downtown) is such an awesome song to sing. And Don't Feed the Plants.... well, you just get sucked into it. And since first day of rehearsals, i have not watered any of the plants in my house .... and i'm not trying to be funny. i haven't. ~ Kaitlin ~ Always Rockin The Boat ~

Favorite Shows: Young Frankenstein, Curtains, Little Shop of Horrors, The Producers
Dream Roles that I have NO CHANCE of Getting Because of Something i Have no control over: Ulla from the Producers or Inga from Young Frankenstein (neither tall nor blonde - such a shame too, because this is one of my favorite "character roles" to play), Igor from Young Frankenstein (i'm no man, no matter how many times i play one), Gary Coleman from Avenue Q (skin color)
SEEING ON MARCH 29TH ON BROADWAY - YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

Re:DQ - 2/3/07: Best Chorus Numbers - 2008/02/10 15:54 I'm probably biased cause I just did this last year, but anything from Jesus Christ Superstar! was amazing. The Last Supper was soo much fun- it's not technically an ensemble number, since it's just the apostles, but it's close enough. - Caitlin / Cait -

Favorites Belle in Beauty and the Beast (2008), Jupiter in Cymbeline (2006), Narrator in Joseph... (2005)
Present (possibly) YAGMCB...

I'm in 42nd Street with leland22...the Lullaby of Broadway is a great song. My personal picks are slightly more modern. I think "Dancing Through Life" from Wicked is a joy to watch on stage. Avenue Q's "It Sucks to Be Me" and "For Now" are great meetings of the whole cast. "Telephone Hour" from Bye Bye Birdie is a memorable one for me to be a part of.

I love 'It Sucks to be Me'! Mentioning One Day More would just be repetitive, but I also love 'Too Darn Hot' from Kiss Me, Kate.
