Does anyone know much about this school that they'd like to share?

It wasn't my favorite, and I ended up not applying, but it was more because of other stuff than their acting program. They seem to have a lot of great intern and job opportunities in and around their school. Auditioning for: Brigadoon, theatre season, American Music Theatre, Into the Woods, Sound of Music, and AMDA.

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:Point Park University Theatre - 2008/02/24 08:02 Hm... well, as it was with a lot of the colleges I visited, I really ha a problem with the ones that didn't feel it necessary to show me their theatre. To me, that says "theatre is not important enough here". This, unfortunately, was the case at a LOT of them, and this one as well. After that, I wasn't a big fan of Pittburgh period... I'm not really a city girl. And then it was just little things like the fact that three people couldn't be straigntening/curling.blow drying their har or the building would blow a circuit, LOL. And you can't audition outside of school, which was a question I asked every single college I visited. Auditioning for: Brigadoon, theatre season, American Music Theatre, Into the Woods, Sound of Music, and AMDA.

I've heard that the musical theatre part is one of the best in the US. That's such a great thing! Congratulations! "If life seems jolly rotten, there's something you've forgotten.
