I'd feel so bad for those people! If the bad auditions we're aired, casting directors all over, would probably be on the run if they ever saw those pople again.

the people picked on the reality tv shows are picked by the judges until they get into the top 12. after that, it's up to friggin' people who care enough to call. So it's basically not necessarily talent or who fits the character the best, but who "looks the best" or "has the prettiest voice". (damn people with pretty voices)
and what i hated about grease is that you never got to see them act. yet they'd show them behind the scenes. And acting is vital!
