WAIT! Just read this: Rumor has it Sutton Foster is to play Fiona. For that reason alone, I'm willing to suck up my misgivings about the whole idea and go see it.
If that is true I am forcing my mom to buy the most-likely overpriced tickets.

I can't seem to find anything. But good because if we believe hard enough Sutton will be Fiona, she'll come back to Seattle and I can get another chance to meet her!! (okay I'm done being insane fangirlish, promise)
The only for sure cast member I could find was Christopher Sieber, and it didn't say who he played. Casting should be announced shortly, every news article(from Jan. 17th) says. This is taking too long...

Re:It's official... - 2008/01/22 16:29I really dont know what to think of this.... if they have good songs I think it would be okay, but I wouldnt go see it even if they have Sutton Foster. It could be good but its a little like them having HSM on broadway, though not that bad.

I do think the show has potential. Depending on the cast, I would like to see the run in Seattle (the northwest has it's perks!). If Sutton's in it, I'm there all the way But A lot of us are prepared for disaster, mainly for me because I just think it would be campy and ridiculous (AND NOT IN THE GOOD WAY, lol).Name: Devyn
