Re:Which Broadway shows have you seen? - 2007/03/08 01:07On Broadway, I've seen The Lion King, Rent, and Wicked. And I saw the touring cast of The Producers a few weeks ago. ...We didn't have much money when I was younger, and then the venue in Edmonton that hosts the touring shows has been under renovations for lord only knows how long. And now that it's open again, I again have no money.
Apparently, Cats is coming to Red Deer for one night only. I may look into it..
Oh, and when I was doing a show at said Edmonton venue when I was younger (in one of the smaller theatres), Miss Saigon was playing on the big stage above us Kathleen Sera Current Shows: Aloha Pinafore - Volga Upcoming Auditions: Crazy For You - Irene Roth

Re:Which Broadway shows have you seen? - 2007/03/08 01:51Oh my gosh...I'd have to think about that one for a while. Probably more than I could list here!
The very first Broadway musical I saw was the original cast of A Chorus Line (back in the olden days), and it was the thrill of a lifetime. I was in high school and I already knew that I wanted to perform on Broadway, so the subject matter of the show was especially close to me. I was so excited afterward that I went to wait for the actors to exit the stage door afterwards, because I didn't want the moment to end. I was so emotional that I could hardly speak, but I shook many of their hands and told them how much the show meant to me. Most of them were really nice about it, because I think they could see themselves a few years earlier.
