Re:Dreams - 2008/02/02 15:21I once had a dream where I was sitting in the audience of a performance of Pirates of Penzance, the actor who played The Pirate King hadn't showed up, so they called me up to play him.
In another, I was back in high school performing Romeo & Juliet, and instead of the girl who normally played Juliet, it was my girlfriend, Kristen. You can bet she was happy to hear about that one. We've talked about playing those parts opposite eachother since we met.
A girl I've acted with for a few years had a dream I'm rather fond of where I was playing Sweeney Todd, but I snapped and actually started killing people. During "Epiphany" I went into the audience and started slashing throats.Sean

Re:Dreams - 2008/02/02 16:04I had a really terrifying dream a week ago about our Once On This Island production. In the opening number the storm sound effects didn't go off, so the little girl we tell the story to didn't know what to cry about, and then at the end when Ti Moone turns into a tree she started spinning on the cable holding her up and the fabric around her legs strangled her. After the show the director came up to me and told me I had to play Ti Moone now. I woke up so freaked out that the first thing I did when I got to school was look for the girl playing Ti Moone to make sure she was still alive.<3

Ha Ha i've had that happen before but usually i realize it was a dream before i get up from my bed. -Laura
Favorite Musical: PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!!!!!! As for more "happy" musicals i like BATB, Music Man, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Singin' in the rain!!!

Okay, so a local theatre company was doing A Chorus Line for their musical, and the day before it opens, I get a call from someone saying that one of the guys in the show dropped out, and the wanted me to replace him! So I'm thinking, "Why do they want me? The part's written for a MAN!" But accept anyway. On opening night, I go on, but basically improvise all of my lines, movement, singing, dancing, blocking. . .you name it! And I'm performing one of my "songs" by myself onstage, and suddenly my dream zooms in on the audience, as if I'm looking into it, and it happens to zoom in on Stephen Colbert, and he's crying! But he looks happy and inspired, not like "Oh, this is so awful!"
On top of that, I keep on having recurring dreams featuring A Chorus Line, which I think is weird, because I've never been in it, I'm not much of a dancer, and I've only seen it once! Peace! Sarah
