In case you didn't realize it I wanted to let you know that "When You Meet a Man in Chicago" is sung by Sweet Sue, not Sugar Kane.
I was in this show a few years ago and to be honest the song that seems to stand out as being the best for Sugar is "Hey, Why Not." So if you have to sing one from the show I'd go with that one.
If the song doesn't fit your voice as well then I would audition for Sweet Sue. I know she's not the lead, but it's the second largest female role and she's sassy and mean. Sugar's sweet and pretty dumb, but if you like to play Marilyn Monroe types she's the role for you.
