The Big Scene - 2008/04/17 11:11 I'm auditioning for AMDA this weekend, and I have a great monologue from The Big Scene. I love it and don't want to have to go with one I know, but don't really like. I have searched high and low and cannot find any information on this play. It's translated from the original Austrian version by rthur Schnitzler. Anyone know anything? Based on my monologue's context, I can guess the prior circumstances, but it would help to have even a short synopsis. Thanks in advance! Auditioning for: Brigadoon, theatre season, American Music Theatre, Into the Woods, Sound of Music, and AMDA.

Re:The Big Scene - 2008/04/17 17:12 where do you live? i wasn't able to find the play on amazon, but it is in an anthology called "Comedies of Words and other Plays" published in 1917. There are 200 libraries in the US that have copies, maybe one is near you. Chris
