Re:Jekyll and Hyde Auds - 2008/04/12 18:12 Just found out my previously mentioned auditions are the first week of May.
The audition notice says to prepare a pop style MT song, but I still don't understand why J&H is "pop". Just because Linda Eder scoops all over the place, I guess....
I'm only shooting for chorus, and none of their stuff is very "poppy", so how non-poppy can I be without being classical MT?

Any other show suggestions besides Annie's and Jane's? (will be looking into everything tomorrow when I finally am off work!) Do you think I should find something upbeat if possible, due to more chorus numbers being moderate or uptempo? but also, I don't want to learn a completely new song in 3 weeks for the audition...

Re:Jekyll and Hyde Auds - 2008/04/16 20:14 I think it's a good choice. I quite like the song, though I'm not sure how effective it is without the monologue before it, but it's still a beautiful piece and a Linda Eder song.
