Need an upbeat belty song for a school pep rally? - 2008/04/10 16:33 My school is doing a pep rally, and I need an up-beat belty song. It can't be too high (no higher than C5), because I'm only 13 and can't belt too high. My mix is very strong though, so if theres one D5 in there, I can probably pull it off.

It's no problem if it's over-done, the only songs the people at my school know is Miley Cyrus *shoot self*

I can sing songs like On My Own, Nothing, and Good Morning Baltimore very well.

Re:Need an upbeat belty song for a school pep rall - 2008/04/10 19:29 "Good Morning Baltimore" would be cute if you are clever enough to change the lyrics a little. A parody!!!! What is the name of your school, or what is the name of your town. Substitute some of the original lyrics for your own making them more personal to your school or town. Maybe mention (in funny, positive ways) some of your teachers. Ask permission with the teacher(s) first if you can use their name. If the rally is in the evening, change it to "Good Evening ??????". Maybe some of your friends can help you come up with stuff. Make it stuff that most everyone would know about. In other words, no "inside" jokes that folks outside your circle of friends wouldn't understand. However, remember that if you make changes, they must be on the nice side. Nothing that cuts anyone down or says anything negative about your town, school, teachers, friends, etc. It could get you in trouble. Good, positive humor is always a hit. Make sure all changes are approved by your teacher or principal.
