first day of auditions or second day? - 2008/02/28 12:24 Two day's of open call auditions -- one is a Sunday afternoon and the other is the following Tuesday evening. Which is better -- going to the first day or the second day?

Re:first day of auditions or second day? - 2008/02/28 13:41 Whichever fits better into your schedule. The director will decided within 30 seconds of meeting you whether or not he wants to see you again. Briana

Re:first day of auditions or second day? - 2008/02/29 01:05 Definitely pick whatever day fits your schedule, but i would pick the second day to audition. That way your audition is fresh in the director's mind. Favorite Shows: POTO, Wicked, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, BATB, Music Man and more!

Currently in: R&H's Cinderella as a Stepsister!

Re:first day of auditions or second day? - 2008/02/29 03:31 There are pros and cons to both.

If you go the first day, you risk being forgotten and maybe someone who auditioned later on was just as good or better.
However, if you go the second day, maybe they've already made up their minds with someone they saw the day before.

It's really hard to say which would be best. The two days being so far apart, however, it may be in better interest to go on the Tuesday.

Re:first day of auditions or second day? - 2008/02/29 14:18 first, it depends on your schedule. but if it were ME, i would go the second day because then i would be fresh in their minds when they're thinking about casting and/or callbacks ~ Kaitlin ~ Always Rockin The Boat ~

Favorite Shows: Young Frankenstein, Curtains, Little Shop of Horrors, The Producers
Dream Roles that I have NO CHANCE of Getting Because of Something i Have no control over: Ulla from the Producers or Inga from Young Frankenstein (neither tall nor blonde - such a shame too, because this is one of my favorite "character roles" to play), Igor from Young Frankenstein (i'm no man, no matter how many times i play one), Gary Coleman from Avenue Q (skin color)
SEEING ON MARCH 29TH ON BROADWAY - YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN
