Name: Kris Occupation: Performer, Teacher, Camp Director, MTA Administrator What's your favorite show?: Usually it's a show I am working on or prepping for... currently it's Anne & Gilbert (prepping for) Least Favorite Show?: Any show for which the music was not originally written for the story (ie... jukebox) Your favorite role you've had: Nellie in South Pacific What is your ultimate dream role?: I really want to be in something NEW. How did you get into theatre?: I started dancing at a very young age. My dance teacher noticed me singing along with whatever we were dancing to, and suggested voice lessons. I was in my first community productions so I could share a hobby with my Dad. Something you can't live without (You can't say anything theatre related): Ditto... my laptop! Any Random Fears: Drowning in a car... don't ask me why. If you had to eat one thing forever what would it be?: Food! LOL... Play Any Sports?: Soccer & dance. I also like random outdoorsy stuff. Favorite Color: Green What's your vocal range?: Somewhere below middle C to somewhere above high C... I'm a soprano who can pretend to be an alto. How did you find MTA?: Well, that's an interesting question, since I created it! I guess I found it in my own head... Least Favorite Show?: besides HSM, I really don't know.
Your favorite role you've had: Eponine in Les Mis highlights
What is your ultimate dream role?: Janet in Drowsy Chaperone, Heidi in [tos], a real lead for a change
How did you get into theatre?: I used to put on plays when i was little and I used to be shy, so my mom put me into a theatre class when I was nine. Her plan backfired and now shes putting a cap on the number of hours I can spend on theatre due to my obsession. I also always was put in the front row at school concerts due to my animated faces and because I got the choreo down so quickly
Something you can't live without (You can't say anything theatre related): My best friends (who I met through theatre...that COUNTS, probably) and Jamba Juice
Any Random Fears: usually something to do with being locked up and not allowed to sing
If you had to eat one thing forever what would it be?: sandwiches
Play Any Sports?: track (high jump) and dance
Favorite Color: turquoise
What's your vocal range?: mezzo
How did you find MTA?: yeesh, i can't remember
Anything else?: J'adore MTA and musical theatre is my life-Ali
Currently: -Sheila; Boys Next Door (postshow depression mode) -acceptance to acting ensemble -Bye Bye Birdie (audition- didn't get a callback)
