Finally,Something is going my way! - 2008/03/19 21:46So,I've been getting ready for a musical revue that my theatre class is putting on,Until now,I've only had one peice,which I happen to loathe (I Can't Say No from Oklahoma)and a dancing peice.My teacher finally got the hint about me being 'Glinda' from Wicked. and asked me to bring in my karaoke CD and pick a duet and an Elphaba.After running through a duet,my teacher and my 'Elphie' both ran off and I popped on 'popular',Mid-song,(I was completely fooling around with my friend and being really dumb)My teacher rounds the corner in the drama room and screams "YOU HAVE TO DO IT!".She's even making me the dress.
I know,Popular is wayyyyyyyyyy overdone,but Glinda's my fave,like EVER.
And I got cast as a lead in a movie role,A cutting,drug addicted teenager,exactly what my acting teacher WOULDN'T cast me as.
So,Those good things are totally overpowering the bad news with theatre right noW(I'll let you know if you want)

Being a dad I have not auditioned for much in 6 months but just auditioned for Whorehouse and had a great time. i'll find out in a day or two but right now i'm just feelin' the buzz of a good audition.

Re:Finally,Something is going my way! - 2008/03/20 13:32I have my first Indie film shoot today. I have one line but I say it directly to the lead. 2 locations around town about 4 hours worth of work, so they tell me. I'm way excited.
Still no word on Best Little Whorehouse but I'm really proud of my Melvin P. Thorpe audition and think I have a pretty good shot at it.
