Re:Movie-Musicals - 2007/08/14 12:26i've talked to the producer of wicked, david stone, and he said not for at least another five years, but eventually there would be a movie. i don't know if he'd trust disney...but maybe, i dont know.
jekyll and hyde the movie-musical?? what?? i LOVE that show. i mean, it scares me senseless and the storyline is kinda....bleh, but the music is incredible...yuck. some things should just stay musicals.
johnny depp is sweeney todd some time in 08!! which...could be a disaster, but i think it will be good.

However, if they would keep movie stars of off Broadway, then I wouldn't mind them being in the movies so much, but it seems that Hollywood is taking over Broadway, as well. It's sad
