Click here to see the profile of this user 		NBC's Passions spoofs Wicked - 2007/07/15 04:18 They're pretty ridiculous, but I figured I'd tell you die hard Wicked fans out there about this. If you go to www.nbc.com/passions and click on the Spellbinding videos you can see a couple musical numbers and a dialogue scene.

They did a spoof a few years ago on the "Cell Block Tango" from Chicago. It was O.K.

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:NBC's Passions spoofs Wicked - 2007/07/15 12:53 I actually, for some great big cosmic coincidence since I can't be bothered to watch soaps despite being home all day, caught the preview for this the day before and actually watched the whole episode the next day. It was actually a pretty well-done spoof (though the green witch's makeup was horrid.. at least on my little TV). Apparently, the one playing the young good witch is playing Glinda in one of the incarnations of Wicked somewhere (can't be bothered to look up where.. LA comes to mind..) Kathleen Sera

I caught it one day and there was a characer who was a mermaid. Where do hey come up with that stuff?! Coincidentally, One Life to Live on ABC did a week of shows called Prom Night: The Musical which was basically their own version of High School Musical. Needless to say it was incredibly stupid but it was fun to see who could actually sing. -Georgia

Anyways I watched the clips, it seemed cute, and I liked whoever played the Glinda character young(sorry, I don't watch it!) The opposite of Rent is Oklahoma!!! Why didn't I think of that?
