He was just sooooo amazing in YF. It just was so moving, especially him in Frederick's Soliloquy. I was so moved and so like...effected by that scene that I just hope someday I can effect people the same way. He just really inspired me. I truly realized that is what I wanna do for my life, be on stage inspiring people, making them laugh or cry.
But don't worry!!! Still love Sutton(enough that if someone ever was to put her down I'd tackle them), she's just astonishing!!!The opposite of Rent is Oklahoma!!! Why didn't I think of that?

Re:Who is your musical theatre idol? - 2008/03/02 10:49Sutton Foster, Elaine Paige, Angela Lansbury, Kristin Chenoweth, Audra Macdonald. All amazing. I've been of fan of Kristin Chenoweth and Angela Lansbury for much longer- Kristin Chenoweth was in my favorite childhood movie, Annie, and also when I was little, we had this HUGE oversized book that was about the characters in The Emporer's New Clothes. It was a funny book, with the views of the fly on the wall and the ladies in waiting, as well as the emporer and stuff. The book also came with a CD, which had actors reading the narratives of characters. Angela Lansbury voiced one of them, and I recognized her voice from Beauty and the Beast and loved listening to the familiar voice (she was also the reason I watched Murder She Wrote when I was about ten or eleven).Auditioning for: Brigadoon, theatre season, American Music Theatre, Into the Woods, Sound of Music, and AMDA.

Anyone notice something they all have in common? In your mind you've already succumbed to me, dropped all defenses, completely succumbed to me...
