Click here to see the profile of this user 		lone star love - 2007/09/04 18:52 has anyone heard anything about this musical? it hasn't been getting as much publicity as "young frankenstein", but the broadway previews for "lone star love" start this weekend in seattle. i'm moving out there for a short while, so i plan on seeing it while i'm there. but i don't know what to expect except that it is a musical based on "the merry wives of windsor" and set in texas.
there was an off-broadway version recently. did anyone happen to see it? Danielle

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:lone star love - 2007/10/09 23:08 i went to see the last performance of it. i really enjoyed it, but it isn't as spectacular as some other professional shows i've seen (wicked, the 25th annual putnam county spelling bee). unfortunately for the cast, they won't be going on broadway as planned. hopefully they will though. it needed a little work because the beginning was slow (no real opening number material) but the rest of the show was great. we'll see what happens.
