Student Rush Tickets - 2006/12/22 19:46 Does anyone know if when getting student rush tickets both people have to be students?

I'm going to NYC next week with my mom and was thinking of trying to get student rush tickets for Spring Awakening. On the web site it says that for student rush each person with a student ID can get a maximum of two tickets, but it doesn't specify whether or not both people have to be students. I wasn't sure if it was like some unspoken rule that both people have to be students or not.

It's been such a long time since I lived in NYC and every time I did get student rush tickets I was either by myself or with a large group of students.

Thanks for the help!

Emily

Re:Student Rush Tickets - 2006/12/23 04:58 my answer will not help you... i am not sure.... i don't think you need to provide 2 student ids to get two student rush tix-- i think one has to be the student. but again, i am not sure.....

please post your reviews of what you see. i am really interested in spring awakening and i hope it does well-- i like the music. BUT i am hearing WONDERFUL things from my friends who have seen the color purple. if you have to choose, i say go for that one!!!!

Re:Student Rush Tickets - 2006/12/24 02:14 Thanks for the reply! You did help because that's what I thought was the case, but I'll probably end up calling the box office just to double check.

If we do have to choose between Spring Awakening and The Color Purple I'm fairly certain we'll choose the latter. All the clips I've seen from TCP have been amazing & my mom adores Oprah, so we'll probably end up seeing it.

And I'll definitely be posting reviews of all the shows I see!
