Re:me singing for good from wicked - 2007/08/14 11:02 Have you chosen a teacher yet? Some voice lessons will do you a lot of good, I think. You've got a good core sound but you need to drop your jaw so that your vowels will not sound so nasal (watch your video and see how wide your mouth looks? Try to make it "long" instead!) Watch also that you are singing all the way to the end of your notes - you are letting them sort of "drop off" at the end and talking out of them, if that makes any sense.

I think it's great that you keep posting videos as you improve. I can see a difference happening in your breath support - but keep working on it!

I would like to see you singing with some accompaniment - it will help you maintain your tempo/rhythm as well as avoid accidental key changes.

Re:me singing for good from wicked - 2007/08/14 15:31 kris beat me, so i am going to ditto her. really, you do have a nice sound... good "raw" talent. but you've got to keep working on that breath support and your sound "formation". as kris said-- note how your mouth is wide. open up and drop your jaw more-- let your sound fly (since we're singing wicked hehe)! i also would love to hear you with accompaniment. you have very good pitch for the most part but the accompaniment can keep you consistent w/ overall rhythm, pitch, etc.

nice job. i can't wait to hear you w/ lessons!
