Re:Winter Storm... - 2006/12/18 06:14 Way up here in the corner we've been having really strong wind. No rain or snow, just wind. It was ridiculous! The shingles actually came off of our roof and school was canceled. We were lucky though, we still had power, but no TV. The opposite of Rent is Oklahoma!!! Why didn't I think of that?

Re:Winter Storm... - 2006/12/18 20:23 We had some snow a couple weeks ago which was really weird for us, but it's warmed back up to the 70s and 80s. I'm back to my favorite Texas tradition, flip-flops in December. But I kindda wish it was colder because I've been spending the last week in a theatre with broken air-conditioning and my costume is made of thick wool, so it'd be really to step outside into the cold. But of course this is Texas and by tomorrow it'll probably 10 degrees outside. One of my favorite sayings is: "If you don't like the weather in Texas, wait 5 minutes, it'll change." LOL -Georgia

Current Show: West Side Story - Clarice

Re:Winter Storm... - 2006/12/18 21:23 Winter? What's that? It's been in the 40's around here, blue skies and sun/cloudy and windy, no snow, green grass and there are birds and squirrels everywhere! To go into acting is like asking for admission to an insane asylum. Anyone may apply, but only the certifiably insane are admitted.
