My most Amazing Experience So Far - 2007/03/19 19:44 My High School theater club just recently performed The Miracle Worker. We had a lot of doubts about it at first because of the sets and the content of the show. We performed the show in our black box theater, our director's original idea to make the play that more intimate. So, our show was a total unexpected hit. We sold out two nights in a row, and our administration loved it so much they let us add on a fourth performance. Our reviews consisted a lot of: "Bravo! Never have I seen such a production. Definately not high school theater. One of the most professional shows I've ever seen etc..." We were so proud of what we could accomplish! It was an incredible feeling, not to mention that i finally became Helen during the performances, and was fearless as to what i could possibly bump into. I became her. It wasn't me up there doing a cheap imitation, I was helen, helen was me. that is why I love this feild! Anyway, I am so proud of my cast too, they extremely stepped it up during those performances. Their energy and chemistry just flowed perfectly, the timing was exact, and I'll never forget the intensity of that last scene in the third act. Anyway, just wanted to share my wonderful pride in what my high school troupe 0922 can accomplish! Tiffany Lynn

Re:My most Amazing Experience So Far - 2007/03/20 01:08 That is really terrific. I love hearing about high schools redefining the public's view of theatre. It really is the best feelings in the world when a show just clicks like that. I wish I could have seen it. Bravisimmi. Sean

Re:My most Amazing Experience So Far - 2007/03/20 19:45 Thanks! It was truly amazing, my director was so close to the production, so it was an honor to be chosen to play the role that he always wanted to but never could, and do it justice to Patti Duke, and Helen Keller herself. It was a piece of art to me! And i wish there was a way to post some of the dress rehearsal, then people could see some of it. But Thank You again! Tiffany Lynn
