whats the matter with you cosette? - 2007/02/22 23:44
so on saturday (as in day after tomorrow) ive got callbacks for les mis and im called back for cosette (older, not younger) and im super excited!!!
apparently its down to me and one other girl, the only problem is the other girl is i guess a favorite of the director while i am a favorite of the music director (and the assitant music director is my ex boyfriend, which i dont know if it will hurt or help me)
im super excited tho, and really want the role b/c last time i was in les mis i was young cosette, so playing the older cosette would just be like...comming home, which is actually ironic b/c if i get the role it will be the last show i do in my home town before i leave for school
now if only my piano wasnt just under 40 years old and was actually in tune i could practice my song a little more and maybe have a shot at actually getting the part (the song is "In My Life" by the way)
hmm well just wanted to share my excitement and trepidation wiht someone who will understand since my family is all "if it cant be factored into the quadratic equation or solved by using one of newtons three laws of physics i dont wanna hear about it"
