Just got back from state one acts!!! - 2007/02/04 15:13
oh my gosh, I'm to excited to go back to sleep! anyways, so the director and cast wrote our one act play this year. It was called "A Violent History" it was really cool, about how anyone can be violent, and how we're not so different from the animals.
We were the last school to go last night before awards, so we had an overflowing house, that was pretty much amazing! We gave a really good performance even though we were used to a theatre with a bigger thrust, so putting the set up in total black out was difficult, but no one fell off the stage.
We got so many awards, it was great! we got 2 ensemble awards for the monkeys and the students (I'm a student, so I got a pretty medal) and 6 individual awards that went to the leads, and we got superior play!
This weekend was an amazing experiance, and it culminated with some great rewards for our hard work!
Now I'm going to ~try~ to get some more sleep to fight the cold I think I'm coming down with.
